Regional Emergency Animal Care Hospital (REACH) and Asheville Veterinary Specialists (AVS) of Asheville, NC are pleased to present the Rudy to the Rescue non-profit fund. Rudy was an exceptional German shepherd. He brought smiles to many as a licensed therapy dog. Rudy underwent life-saving bloat surgery at REACH in 2008 and went on to continue a life of service to the community until his passing in 2013.
Now, in honor of Rudy's memory, we at REACH and AVS of Asheville are pleased to be able to offer assistance to those with sick or injured pets in financial need.
Emergency pet care can be expensive and unexpected. Pet injuries and illnesses are stressful and emotional times. No one wants to make medical decisions for a beloved pet based on finances. We are introducing this fund to help those patients seeking emergency and/or surgical care at REACH and AVS and whose owners have financial limitations.
Rudy to the Rescue is a 501c3 (non-profit) organization. All donations are tax deductible. Donations will go directly towards helping those with injured and ill pets that do not have the finances to pursue the recommended care.
